I initially hired Nelson to make repairs to several corroded planks on my old deck. He was punctual for our first meeting, greeted me kindly, and addressed all my concerns. After he carefully inspected the deck, he pointed out other necessary repairs I had not noticed. He recommended I replace more than just several planks plus the entire floor, railings, handrail, and stairs. Well, I was not ready for that suggestion, but he assured me it would be better to replace everything “now” rather than wait until it falls apart. I am happy I took his advice! Nelson and his crew were able to save the structural posts as they were still in good shape, but everything else is new and looks NICE! He has a good eye for design as he suggested solar cap lights and he sanded, and added black stain to my existing structural posts and skirting (which look great against the remaining natural wood). The result is a fresh new deck that now feels safe to enjoy with my family and friends! I am a happy customer and would definitely re-hire or recommend Nelson to others.
