Introduction: Hello. My name is Lauren and I've been providing virtual/remote as well as onsite bookkeeping services to small businesses in the consulting industry, construction/ service labor industries as well as real estate investors and property maintenance and management companies for over 11 years. have extensive experience in both Quickbooks online (5 years) and desktop (11 years). I'm currently the owner of Type A Bookkeeping, LLC. I offer virtual/remote bookkeeping and accounting services to small and mid-sized businesses and thus far have provided my services to the following industries: construction/ service labor, real estate investors and property maintenance and management companies, law firms, an assisted living home, and a videographer. I have extensive experience in both Quickbooks online and desktop. For my company I have been assigned as a freelance/contract bookkeeper to provide clients with the following support: Providing a full spectrum of daily, weekly or monthly bookkeeping services. Providing special "Clean-up" projects by assessing the current status of their books, making corrections where needed and bringing books that have fallen behind back up to date. Training small business owners or their in-house bookkeepers the processes of full-cycle bookkeeping as well as helping them to create a manageable workflow to keep up and current with the companies bookkeeping duties themselves. Being assigned by a law firm the tasks of organizing financial information relevant to particular cases in time to be reviewed and used at trial. One-time tasks of reviewing clients books by remote log-in or temporary access to cloud based accounting software to provide consultations and suggestions to improve the status of their chart of accounts and other aspects of their bookkeeping processes. Broadening the scope of work that I'm able to provide by adding a CPA to my to my team who possess a rich background in working with non-profits. Providing remote payroll administration to large property management company with between 30-40 employees within 4 different states. Assisting companies in streamlining their operations by way of digital filing and cloud based applications for accounting and project management. Reconciling and managing corporate credit card expenditures for a property management company with 12+ cardholders. I'm very tech-savvy and haven't been introduced to an application that I couldn't learn- and quickly. But I currently have experience with the following applications: Quickbooks Online Appfolio (property management) Hub doc (document storage and bank statement retrieval) All things Google Drive Microsoft Excel Trello (Project management) Paychex (payroll) Gusto (payroll) Patriot Software (payroll) I pride myself on the help I've been able to provide small business owners who feel overwhelmed and or behind on their bookkeeping duties and have lost a sense of their companies financials and being remote with Quickbooks Online offers me more opportunities to do so.
