She also represented the District at grant application technical assistance meetings at the United States Department of Education, Michigan Department of Education and other funders.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Carolyn as she is hardworking and keen to detail! I've been working on a book about my travel experience to Senegal for years and asked Carolyn if she could help edit my first draft. How did you get started doing this type of work?
Although I write resumes and other pieces, my specialty is grant writing. I started as a writer for Detroit Public Schools and progressed to the Director of that department.

I have worked for individuals, writing resumes and cover letters. For companies, I have constructed brochures, souvenir booklets, flyers and posters. For Nonprofits, I have researched and written many grant proposals that were awarded.
