Grants 'N Such, LLC

Carolyn Darden is a professional grant writer who works with 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations, schools, municipalities, faith-based organizations, and other service providers to generate funds to address a wide variety of needs and issues. Grants ‘N Such, LLC was formed by Carolyn Darden who functions as the Chief Executive Officer and chief writer of the company. Four other grant writers, trained by Ms. Darden, also provide excellent grant writing services. The training and experience of Ms. Darden is the foundation of the company. She is a member of the American Association of Grant Professionals and a graduate of The Grantsmanship Center. In addition to her work for the Detroit Public School system, she served as a grant reviewer for the State of Michigan and the Michael Jordan Foundation. Promoted from grant writer to the Director of the Grant Department, she researched, identified and articulated Federal, State and Local competitive and categorical grant funds to supplement District programs. She also represented the District at grant application technical assistance meetings at the United States Department of Education, Michigan Department of Education and other funders.
