- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
M.J.N Michigan Notary Services offers transparent pricing for general mobile notary services. Our fees depend on the type of service, travel distance, appointment time, and any additional services requested. Additional Fees: - Mobile Travel & Appointment Fees: Starting at $40. - Same-Day or Emergency Appointments: $50 additional fee. -Weekend Appointments: $40 additional fee. - Holiday Appointments: $60 additional fee. - Printing and Mailing: Additional fees may apply depending on the service requested. Payment is due the day before your scheduled appointment. Please review all applicable fees before confirming your booking. Travel fees are nonrefundable once travel has begun. Notary fees and mobile service fees may be charged separately. All notarizations are subject to Michigan law and the applicable notarial fee limits.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I begin by discussing their notary needs, confirming the type of document that requires notarization, and determining the best time and location for the appointment. Once the details are confirmed, I explain the applicable fees upfront so there are no surprises. Payment is due the day before the scheduled appointment. Before beginning the notarization, I verify the signer’s identity, ensure they understand they are signing willingly, and review the document for any issues that could prevent me from completing the notarization. I then perform the notarization in accordance with Michigan law. My goal is to make the process convenient, professional, and stress-free while treating every customer and their documents with care and confidentiality.

I have completed the requirements necessary to serve as a notary public in Michigan and understand the importance of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail when handling important documents. I am committed to following Michigan notary laws, verifying signers' identities, and ensuring notarizations are completed properly. I also prioritize protecting customers' privacy and providing convenient, reliable mobile notary services throughout Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties.
