- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While I do value education, I equally value involvement in the specific communities of your field. This is a large part of my effort to stay cognizant of current trends of design and applicable tools in this profession. My main sources: LinkedIn, Behance, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr -- additionally trade shows, conventions, local drawing groups, art fairs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I hate being cheesy and saying it was my destiny to do what I do - but as a child, I never stopped drawing. Drawing and art have been my passion since the day I was old enough to hold a crayon to a piece of paper and create interesting super heroes, monsters, villains, aliens, and then cars, logos, shoes, uniforms, etc. It was my destiny.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please recognize that, like many service professions, you are not paid only for your time, but also for education and years of training to reach your level of expertise.
