Introduction: Attorney Steven R. Simkins has been licensed by the State Bar of Michigan since 2003, and he is a member of the criminal law, family law, and general practice sections. Mr. Simkins is admitted to practice in all Michigan state courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. He also serves as a court-appointed attorney in the Kent County Circuit Court for juvenile delinquency cases. Best criminal lawyer in town! At very a very reasonable price.

I retained Mr. Simkins to defend me for a traffic violation charge that resulted in an auto accident. He worked with the prosecutor to settle the case. In this instance the state was not willing to negotiate with us and the case ended in trial. Mr. Simkins was outstanding. After an hour of arguments and cross-examination the charges were completely dropped. After watching Mr. Simkins work in the courtroom it was obvious that he is a highly qualified attorney, was entirely prepared to argue my case, and understands legal procedure. I highly recommend his legal counsil to anyone that needs a very skilled attorney with courtroom experience.
