- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out by singing in my church choir. Then I began singing for wedding and funeral services. Eventually, when the choir disbanded, I became the solo a capella cantor for weekly church services and sang the National Anthem for the annual church feast day fundraiser. I then started singing for sponsored teas and special events at a local non-profit, where I worked and volunteered. And then I branched out to singing for assisted livings and nursing homes throughout the tri-county area.
