I was looking for someone to build a website for me. Clicked on quit a few listings. Then I came across Justin and his description and it it home. I immediately requested him to contact me. His response time was extremely fast. Justin spent quite a bit of time on phone with me answering all my questions and explaining his process. Sent me a fair priced quote. I hired Justin immediately. Extremely glad I did. Everything he has done has been top notch. Don’t waste your time looking around just hire Justin you won’t regret it!!

Justin and JPIXEL designed the website for our new start-up construction consulting firm, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Justin connected with us in the beginning and detailed the entire process, and we began immediately. Justin submitted his initial design concept, and we began to collaborate back and forth with edits and revisions until we had a website design that we were thrilled with. The website is everything we imaged and more. Justin is a master at website design and we would highly recommend JPIXEL to anyone!

I initially hired Justin to create a directory type website. I had provided EVERYTHING, from mockups to the graphic images to content to be used on the website. I had a particular design in mind and all I wanted him to do was to actually put it all together, which although his skills are limited he was able to do. The site is far from perfect, certain components are not responsive to different screen sizes, but it does the job. With this experience in mind, I went to him for a second website, this time, an e-commerce website. He assured me he has hired someone new that is more capable than him and is an expert on e-commerce websites. I was excited. I had heard Shopify is the best platform for it and thought Ashley, his new hire, is capable of using this platform. Justin sent me a very general questionnaire about my favorite color and if my business was a car, what kind of car it would be, and from there they were ready to design the site, from scratch, with no mock-up, no meeting. No discussion of what exactly I had in mind, no discussion about the layout of the pages or how many pages, or how the homepage should look or what it should include. Since I had designed the first website and given him a ready package to go off of, I had not noticed this lack of professionalism before. So I asked to have a zoom meeting with Ashley prior to her starting the project. She showed up late to the meeting, completely unprepared, with her camera turned off. She didn't have any sample sites, or any questions to ask me, or anything that could give me some idea of what she was actually planning to do. So I mentioned that I had provided mock-ups of the website to Justin for our first project, and it would be helpful to see the creative direction they are planning to take on the project. I was ready to cancel the project at this point, but Ashley said she will send a couple of mock-ups. Ashley, according to Justin, did me a favor and went "above and beyond" to provide mock-ups, which were actually quite beautiful and I was delighted to see. After seeing the mock-ups I felt better about the situation, but was not certain if she was going to use Shopify as I had assumed, so I checked with her and she said to ask Justin. At this point he said that they ONLY USE WIX, which does not say explicitly anywhere in their ad, or even in their contract. I did know that Justin used Wix for the last website, but after mentioning that Ashley, the new hire, is an expert in Ecommerce sites and I was only familiar with Shopify as an ecommerce platform, and not seeing anywhere explicitly mentioned that they ONLY us Wix, I had assumed they would use Shopify. So I notified Ashley to not continue with any work and told Justin that I would have to cancel our contract. I was expecting a refund for HALF of the total which he had already charged me, however, he refused to refund me, saying that they had gone above and beyond to accommodate me. I acknowledged that there was work that was done but not worth HALF of the total cost and I was willing to get a partial refund, however he refused. He offered less than half of what he had already charged me. I've asked Paypal for a refund and we are currently in dispute. I am shocked by the lack of professionalism and the entitlement of this person. He did not even design the first site, I had done the preliminary work, and the second website which they had done me "favor" by providing mock-ups they refused to refund a fair portion, because somehow mock-ups are worth half of the price of creating an entire functional page with multiple revisions. I would stay away from this company if you are looking for a professional website for your business.
