Introduction: 10/06/2015- I was awarded Thumbtack's 2015 Best Professional I have been playing the piano for 30 years. I have fundamental classical piano education from Albania and the states (private and from Oakland University). I have played in competitions, recitals, and at various churches. I teach young children and adults European methodology - solfege technique and American lyrical techniques, participant guide, show and tell, and introduce the students to local concerts and competitions. I am a member of: MTNA - working towards my teacher specialist certification Suzuki of the Americas Association - completed Every Child Can Course; Working towards Unit 1 Course (preparing Mozart Sonata K. 331, movement I for audition) AGM - 2 students of mine won: 3rd place Winner for Length of Study, Senior A Division; 2nd place Winner for Length of Study, Adult Student Division. First lessons will be free. I live in Macomb TWP(21 Mile & North Avenue), and I am able to teach at my house as I have a piano. Iris is extremely kind. She is very flexible if you need to reschedule a lesson. She is so patient with my son and encourages him to practice. She is eager and willing to go above and beyond for her students. If you need a piano teacher, Iris is the one!

Teacher is very patient and kind. My daughter has a lot of personality and is at times too playful, but the teacher managed to get through to her. I decided to take classes myself as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father is a violin teacher and a violin player, thus the talent is in the family. It fascinated me that I was able to make music by just pressing some keys on the piano.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I introduce them to relaxation methods, I play each new piece I introduce to them, I practice with them and introduce them to competitions and recitals in the community.
