FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep pricing at a low reasonable rate. If you work with computers you know nothing you do with them is quick and service is no exception. Where the actual OS install, less disc prep time, is normally less than an hour. Getting the drives squared away and getting the unit on the net then running all the Microsoft updates and patches takes MANY hours even with the bast of internet connections. Your machine speed and the type of hardware in your machine also makes a difference in the time required to set up the machine. This is the reason we charge flat rates for these repairs. No time clock on these repairs, what ever it takes to get the job done right. No penalty for still owning a older slower machine.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
