FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I first and foremost want to make sure we're a good fit. I love building relationships and making connections. A home is the most important thing you may ever buy in your life and it's important that the person helping you to do that is personally invested in your best interest in more than just a 'client relationship'. Let's grab coffee and chat and make sure you're comfortable with hiring me! If you're buying a property, I love discussing what it is that you're looking for and what it is you need in a home. Is it a certain amount of bedrooms, a certain area for the schools and commute to work, or maybe it's just a feeling of 'home' when you walk in the front door.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed with the State of Michigan as a real estate agent. I am also a member of GMAR and National Association of Realtors. I am trained in the MLS, Electronic Contracts, and attend trainings on a weekly basis. I am also a certified Seller Representative Specialist, Commitment to Excellence (C2EX), and At Home With Diversity (ADHD).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Why real estate? Well, for starters, it's in my blood. My father was a real estate agent my entire life. I grew up in the front seat of his car watching him take business call after business call and drive around neighborhoods 'speccing' for his clients. I also love what home feels like. I love making home a place I never want to leave. A place that I can be proud of and that I can share with family and friends. It's where milestones happen, dreams begin, and relationships grow. I love knowing that a house is your shell, but what you choose to put in it is what makes it feel like a 'home'. After buying and renovating our first home, I fell in love with design and how to make decor fit for my family's lifestyle and that worked within our budget. I love helping my clients envision spaces and find a place that they can be unapologetically them.
