Brett, I came out to your home after you received an offer and found damage in your attic from bats. I was met at the door by your wife, she stated that you “cleaned” the attic from the damage and wanted me to confirm the clean up was successful. After my inspection of the attic, it was recommended to your wife that a FULL attic restoration be completed (hazmat suites, air scrubbers, dumpsters, zip walls, floor protectors, ALL insulation be removed, attic antimicrobial and deodorizer agent on ALL framing, and new insulation be installed), along with completing a bat exclusion on the home. Your wife did not want to have those services completed, because you were selling. You requested for us to complete the removal of the bats and perform a spot clean. Upon signing up and speaking with you on the telephone, it was clearly stated that this does not guarantee all bat guano to be cleaned up and we recommend the full attic to be restored. You were satisfied with ALL the work completed by My Bat Guy. Your second inspection for new buyers did not fail because of our services. Per the report YOU sent us, you had 12 issues, major issues, of things that needed to be completed. We provided you with the FULL attic restoration estimate and tried working with you, by applying portion of what you paid toward the estimate. We were working with you the best we could. Due to your behavior and unprofessionalism at the time in court, we were ordered to pay the $900 to you that you were charged to blow insulation over the entire attic, without properly cleaning the attic out. This was a scam on you just to sell the home. This now presents the health risk to the new owners. All of our photos shown to the judge are time and date stamped at your home. As you can see from My Bat Guy’s 4.9 star rating, for 10 plus years, we are not “scam artists”, we run our company with complete integrity. We provide the utmost services to ALL of our clients, in a service that is not fully understandable. We are sorry, Brett, that you feel this way. However, we worked with you and wanted to properly repair your home. You found a company to unethically cover the damage. I would steer clear of these people.
