I brought two pair of pants in to have them taken in in the hip and thigh area. Dawn did an excellent job: professional, yet friendly, good service, quality work, reasonable rates and delivered on time. I will definitely use Dawn again and would recommend her services to others. Dawn does excellent work. She was very nice and was very professional. I would highly recommend her for any job. She made beautiful bids that were personalized for my baby. She also has done alterations for me as well. Very dependable.

Just a note to say that Dawn made our Halloween. My son wanted to be Finn from the cartoon show Adventure Time. The hat that Finn wears is very distinct, and I was at a loss as to how to get one. I contacted her, asking if she might be able to pull it off. She was able to make one from scratch, based on photos and screen shots from the internet. We picked it up tonight, and my son hasn't taken it off since. I think he may even sleep in it. If have any sewing or craft needs, please contact her. I cannot say enough about how nice and accomodating she was. She saved our Halloween, and for that I will be forever grateful.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have done sewing and needlework since I was a child. When I was laid off I decided to use my talents to earn a living. I purchase am embroidery machine and have a great time putting your ideas onto that special garment.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Hemming pant and dresses. I also take in clothes o make them fit better.
