Introduction: If you're interested in learning (age 8 to 80) right from the beginning (no gimmicks or shortcuts), then I'm your teacher.
I have over 40 years of experience. My price is $15 for 1/2 hour. Advanced students get a lesson at that price plus a bonus time to be determined (free).
I also teach beginners for the mandolin, fiddle, banjo, pedal steel, bass and ukulele. These are all self-taught by learning the basics.

I have been taking lessons for several years from Joe. I'm learning both mandolin and violin and more than that music theory. These are third and fourth instruments for me but the first stringed instruments ever. I am an adult learner and have found that Joe has answers for simple questions and more complex ideas in the learning process. Oh, and did I mention patience!

We have been doing beginner guitar and violin lessons for 2 girls for about a year. Joe is extremely patient and kind, and very knowlegeable about stringed instruments! He's also flexible with very busy schedules, which we really appreciate.
