Introduction: I have been in practice for over 38 years. My practice concentrates on divorce and family matters, serious personal injury claims, including obtaining personal injury protection, insurance benefits, criminal defense and traffic matters. I also have experience in probate and real estate matters.
In general, anything that may involve trial practice, going to court is included. My clients have told me that they feel they are in good hands with me after we have met. My divorce clients, in particular, feel relieved and much less anxious and that does not seem to change once the matter is completed.
I have sat as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and for several law firms as a plaintiff's arbitrator. I have also been appointed many times in two local circuit courts as a plaintiff's mediator.
In short, I am able to get to the heart of matters and am able to work out most claims. This works to my hourly clients' benefit as it reduces the hours I have to spend in resolving my clients' problems which results in lower fees.
