I've used Julie on several projects in my home from simple blocking patterns (which were still hard for me) to more creative artistic works. She has a great eye for details. She is extremely creative and professional.

I have had Julie do several projects including detailed wall murals, stenciling, rhinestone embellished walls, faux painting, personalized rocking horses, wood furniture staining, decorative painting on brick...you name it. She is timely and trustworthy, her work is outstanding and I would highly recommend her!! Lori Conway

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do not have a standard pricing system as my work cannot be priced by the yard. It varies due to detail and difficulty of the project. Murals are priced on a time and materials basis. Faux finishes are given a fixed cost once the finish is selected

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to meet with the client in person, discuss ideas and see the space they would like to have painted. If this is not practical due to distance, I like to discuss the project on the phone and exchange ideas through email.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I attended a decorative arts college in London, England, and completed an apprenticeship. I have been working as a decorative artist for 25 years on a large variety of projects ranging from murals to gilding and special finishes painted on furniture.
