- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In electrical, in order to give a quote, 90% of the time I need to see the job. Photos are good but don't answer all the questions. Unless the client is willing to answer questions over a phone conversation and measure distances and decide on other factors, its not easy to be accurate on the quote. Even a "ballpark" number can be why off. I always suggest to see the job for myself, in person.
