Introduction: I am a state-certified language educator and online tutor for English as a second language (ESL), conversation, reading, writing, and TOEFL/ IELTS / TOEIC test prep. I have over 30 years of experience as a tutor, 20 years of experience as a certified language teacher, and over 15 years as a university instructor teaching language methodology courses. I have experience teaching children and adults. I also have a university degree specializing in language education. Tutoring instruction is via Zoom or Skype, so you can learn efficiently in the convenience of your own home.

Aurelia is also my English teacher. I am German and need to improve my writing skills. She is a very smart, experienced and patient person/teacher. She listens carefully and figures out what you need and where your "gaps" are. You can tell that she likes her job and is talented to make the lessons very interesting and changing. We meet over Skype or also in person at the library.

Aurelia is my English teacher. I'm French and practice with her my conversation.. that I try to improve. She asks me a lot of question so it allows me to look for vocabulary and try make good sentences. She corrects me about pronunciations and grammar. I appreciate our conversations by Skype. It's easy for me to stay at home. I recommend Aurelia as teacher!

What types of customers have you worked with?
I provide language instruction via Skype. Students are in a comfortable home environment and still able to communicate face to face with the instructor.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure the person you hire has experience teaching the language even if they are a native speaker. Formal training such a degree in the language is most preferred.
