- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
During college I worked in environmental capacities in some form. I graduated from Ferris In 1993, I have conducted various air testing for mold, bacteria and chemicals in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. In addition, to scoping work and developing advanced reports I have overseen asbestos, water, sewage, storm and fire damage restoration projects most of my career (27 years of work in environmental field). My formal education encompasses a Bachelors of Science of Industrial and Environmental Health and Master Degree in Business. I have attended in excess of 60 technical courses or seminars regarding environmental issues. I personally hold NIOSH 7400/580, four State of Michigan asbestos accreditations being inspector, supervisor, management planner and project designer. I also have the EPA Lead Renovator and the State of Michigan Department of Health Lead Assessor and Lead Inspector Licenses. REST is licensed by the State of Michigan as an Asbestos Contractor and a Residential Builder. REST is an EPA Lead Safe Certified Firm. We are not State Licensed for mold because there is no such license, but our licenses lend their credentials to our professionalism.
