Introduction: I'm interested in the brand, whether it's a small business or a personal brand. I'm experienced in establishing or working with an existing brand voice and ensuring it remains consistent throughout the project. I have more than five years' experience, both formal and freelance, writing for very specific unique brands. That experience has taught me how to market through content messaging and through digital communications. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My resume and cover letter work really depends on the needs of my clients. I work within everyone's specific budgets and needs because the goal is to grow in a career or take the leap into a new one.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically like to have a short conversation on the phone to get any of the minor details out in the open. Then, if appropriate, we work on a timeline for check-ins and a final deadline. Prior to beginning work, I do ask for a portion of the cost up front and the remainder is due upon project completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My formal education was completed at Eastern Michigan University where I earned a Bachelor's in English and Literature. Most recently, I obtained a Master's in Curriculum Planning and Instruction. I also have on-the-job training from my formal roles as a marketing and brand messaging specialist.
