Introduction: I have been in the catering business for over 30 years. My services are for bartending and waitress staff for parties, for any type of catering event such as weddings, funerals, graduation parties, anniversaries, tailgate parties, etc. When I bartend, I will come to your party and take care of the bar, and serve drinks and help in any way, so that you can enjoy yourself at your event. When I am a waitress, I will be there to set up, help prepare food, clean up and help in any way, so that you can enjoy your party and not worry about anything.
I have also been hired as a wedding planner for (2) weddings. I can also get other staff, if needed, to help with your party. Catering companies and hotels that I have worked for in the past include Campbell Catering, Professional Party Planners, Nip & Sip Catering, Tarpoff Catering, Dewitt Catering, Hilton Inn, and Sheraton Hotel (Lexington).
I have built a clientele that I work for when they have events. I also am the bartender for Karoub & Associates which is a lobby firm downtown Lansing. You will be very happy with my services. What people love about me is that when they know that I am at their parties, they can enjoy themselves and not worry about making sure that guests are happy. I am professional. I can make suggestions when planning parties to make your party/event a success.

I wish I could say Doreen was great, but she wasn't. When I first hired her, she claimed to have all the supplies necessary, however during the week of my wedding and even the day of, she was bothering me with questions about what we needed to provide for her. The day before I was to be married, she felt the need to remind me and also ask if a meal was included for her. On top of everything, the morning of my big day, she texted me saying she was bringing someone to train without having previously discussing it with myself or now husband. In addition, after I explicitly told her to not bother me during the reception, she came up to me on two different occasions, one to inform me that we ran out of wine and the also to inform me she was leaving at 9:30 instead of 11 which we had previously discussed. She had already been told by multiple people in the bridal party to not bother me and to direct any questions to them instead. I do not recommend her, unless you wish to be bothered consistently during one of the most important days of your life.

Here was my response to Erica. Hi Erica, sorry you were disappointed in my services. I went above and beyond and brought all my bar supplies that I said I would. Coolers, tubs, pitchers, & all bartender supplies agreed upon. I don't recall what bar supplies I had to ask for that were yours? My quote was for 7 hours which included setting up and cleaning up. Look at the quote. I got there at 1:30 so I worked 8 hours. I told you that another bartender would be needed because of being keg beer but you said you couldn't afford. The bartender I brought along was paid out of my pocket. I brought along pretzels, snack mix and straws out of my pocket and all were eaten & used. Confused over bad review? In have never had a bad review in my 30 years of bartending or catering. I worked very hard at your wedding & usually the bride/broom notifies me before that I can have a dinner at the wedding and even shut bar down during dinner. I didn't want to eat at your wedding without you telling me it was OK. I have manners so I asked. I'm not a slave and just for your information I barely got time to go to the bathroom. I even quickly helped get the champagne served when nothing was ready for you. As far as I was told I was given Kyle's phone number and wasn't told to contact anyone other than you two. Usually there is a wedding coordinator who I talk to on things needed. I was just doing my job letting you know things ran out. Best Wishes & hope you realize what words you said about me were very untrue and hurtful.

Doreen went above and beyond as the bartender at our event on Michigan State campus! She offered to help during set-up with our food, during the slow times at our event, she cleared tables, and she helped clear up at the end of the night. We are so appreciative of her help, especially since we scheduled her so last minute!!

Doreen was very professional. She was punctual, courteous and attentive to my guests. She even offered to help with the set up because she arrived early. I would definitely hire her again.
