FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
BGI pricing for investigations is very straight forward, we do have a reasonable hourly rate, but to ensure accurate pricing we first meet with the client to discuss their particular issue and quote accordingly. In Michigan Professional Investigators must work from retainers and keep detailed billing records. Please call BGI for free investigative consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first priority is to listen and get to know the customer. While situations can be similar there are no 2 incidents exactly alike. Not only are the individuals involved unique, the particular circumstances and the desired outcome of the client must be fully understood to ensure the client obtains the information they need. We begin with a free initial introduction meeting with the client. Once we understand the client, the client's situation and the client's desired outcome, we then discuss what BGI can do to help. Once the client is satisfied BGI is the agency for them, we will discuss the billing process and estimate the potential cost. BGI will not exceed the initial quote without the approval of the client. We seldom exceed initial estimates.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BGI belongs to the Michigan Council of Professional Investigators and attends networking and training sessions when available. Chris, the owner, regularly reviews Michigan case law to ensure compliance in investigations, which will ensure admissibility of the information BGI gathers in court.
