- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is simple, transparent, and designed to fit the average Minnesota family or professional. All sessions include edited high-resolution images, full usage rights, and no hidden fees. Travel within the Austin/Rochester area is included. I occasionally offer seasonal discounts or mini-session specials, and I’m always upfront about total cost before anything is booked.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick message or call to understand exactly what you’re looking for—style, location, outfit ideas, and the mood you want your photos to capture. From there, I help you plan the session, recommend locations, and answer all questions before the shoot. On the day of the session, I guide you through natural posing and help you feel comfortable, even if you’ve never been in front of a camera. After the shoot, you’ll receive a proof gallery to select your favorite images, and the final edited photos are delivered quickly, usually within 3–5 days.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve spent years studying lighting, composition, color, and portrait techniques through hands-on experience, workshops, and real-world sessions. I work with professional Sony camera bodies, high-quality lenses, and off-camera lighting to ensure every photo is sharp, well-lit, and professionally edited. I’m constantly learning and improving so my clients get the best images possible—no shortcuts.
