FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m new to thumbtack, but not new to construction, I usually price projects as a lump sum vs an hourly rate. I like to see a project in person before accepting but that being said the more photos you can provide the better I can give you a ballpark park estimate and then can fine tune it in person. If anything comes up out of the original scope I will contact you with an additional estimate before proceeding.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked in a family construction company since I was 14. I love to learn and went to Stout for 2 years of construction management and then switched to a tech program to get a associates in architectural drafting design. I have training on building inspection, hands on experience as an architectural drafter, installed various concrete and wood products all over the country and as on a volunteer on projects all around the world. I also have experience working with the elderly in the nursing home setting and hope to help people live safely and comfortable in there homes.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked for home owners, zoos, aquariums, retail stores, churches, orphanages, assisted livings, home owner associations, national parks, hotels, restaurants, theme parks, malls (MOA).
