FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price by the job. I work fast and efficiently while my quality and attention to detail is excellent as well. If my pricing is a little out of their budget don’t shy away, say what their budget was and I can see if we can work something out. Sometimes customers may get sticker shocked as they didn’t know how expensive it can be. As stated in another question though is we are making an investment and adding value to your home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Going to give an estimate. See what tile they are wanting to have installed and pattern. Discuss the timeline they’d like the project to be done and start date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was in the Local Brick and Allied Crafts Union for 6 years. Went to finishers school for 2 years and tile layer school for another 2 years within the Union. Total hours to get journeymen status is over 6000 hrs.
