I have an older garage door and opener system Last week, a spring dismounted from the beam. While I am aware the entire system may need an upgrade down the road, I simply wanted someone to fix the issue at hand and give me honest input into the garage.
Jeff of Gopher Garage gave me an upfront quote/price-range. When he arrived, he was prepared and had the garage door system in working order in under an hour. He gave me some DIY tips to keep the garage door system in better working order and safe proof. The garage door is opening better now that it has in a long time.
What I liked best was not being pressured to upgrade the entire system. Instead of attempting to sell me a $1K-$1.5 new garage door system and a rambling sales pitch, Jeff fixed exactly what I asked. He inspected the rest of the system and addressed any potential issues. Done and done.
