- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have two wedding packages to choose from. The standard package is $600 (plus tax and travel is further than 20 miles from Mayer, MN) and includes footage of the ceremony and main parts of the reception: dinner, speeches, first dance, mother/son and father/ daughter dance and part of the dancing after. The standard plus photos package is $660 (plus tax and travel if necessary) and I come before the bride and groom get ready and take footage of the getting ready, first glance, and pictures before the ceremony. I then take footage of the entire ceremony and parts of the reception: dinner, speeches, first dance, mother/son and father/daughter dance and part of the dancing afterward.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to school for video productions and was asked to do my first wedding by a friend of mine. After that, I was hooked. Capturing each couples love story is fun and I really enjoy giving the couple something they can watch together for the years to come.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Wedding videography. I also do some family portraits and senior photos on the side.
