FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
A concert on stage with a PA system (we have our own or can use yours) with one or more sets of up to 45 minutes in length.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It can be hard to know what you really want and to distinguish a particular genre or style from the performer. In the case of a cappella, most groups are not going to be Pentatonix, Home Free or Tonic Sol Fa. Have a good idea of whether you want contemporary, jazz, barbershop, doo wop or something else. Then find out what the group does *between* songs. Most sell their singing abilities, which is understandable, but non-singing time and general professionalism can make or break the experience for you & your audience.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It takes hundreds of hours of intense preparation for a single piece of music. Unlike instruments, which are tuned mechanically, a cappella singers have to train their voices to work together constantly.
