FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
This is completely customizable so I prefer that a client contacts us with their details first. We need to know the location of the event, the size of the band or makeup of the DJ gear, miles to be traveled, accommodations if over 2 1/2 hours away, etc. Once we know all the dynamics and logistics we can give options and clear pricing. If I try to offer general pricing here it will, in too many cases, be priced incorrectly out of context.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by listening to exactly what they want, what they are trying to accomplish, how they envision their wedding being seen and then discuss options that might fit into their budget. After they've decided on what group or DJ they like and what options they think might be needed for their venue, I put together a contract with everything we've spoken about and let them review and ok it. Once everything looks good to both of us, we both sign it and I collect a deposit to hold the date for them. I ask for their requests with enough time to transcribe, chart out, customize and learn or in the case of a DJ design a custom song list that will be ready the day of. The month of I ask for a schedule if we are following one and I do my best to craft the night's energy and music around that timeline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in Film Scoring, Music Business, and Performance. I took 5 years of Music Production and Engineering courses and have worked for Ashe and Spencer and Shout radio on national commercial spots as well as being a studio artist doing commercial for over 20 years.
