- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a natural progression as I aged and found myself not enjoying the band scene because of the various egos that go along with musicians.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently did a show in northern Minnesota over a holiday weekend where the owners of the establishment were convinced that their customers were not fond of karaoke. As it turned out it was such a hit that many of the people returned the following day to sing again. The owners were as happy as I have ever seen and were glad they listened to my recommendation.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Professionalism counts. Anyone can Emcee a Karaoke show but providers with a musical background that includes instrument ability offer a different higher level of service and number of options.
