One aspect of my work that helps it to stand out is my use of off-camera lighting. I almost always have a strobe with a softbox with me - indoors and outdoors. Not all photographers have the knowledge, equipment, or desire to add this dimension to their portraits. But I think it is essential to capturing the best photos on your big day. I have the privilege of spending a large amount of time with my brides and grooms. Many times I even spend more time with them than their parents, friends, and family. I am honored and truly enjoy sharing their day.

Tim was wonderful to work with. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love photography and I love people.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I typically shoot a wedding and provide images on a disc with printing rights. This keeps costs down, and then there's an option for prints/albums/etc afterwards.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask to see an entire wedding. Its really easy to look like a superstar with a couple photos from a dozen weddings.
