We truly cannot recommend Elliot and Sensible Heating and Air more!! Our AC recently stopped working and we had previously been using a larger company (hint: 24 hour) when we had an AC/heat-related issue. Once they finally came to see what was going on with our AC for our most recent situation (five days after we had initially called them about it), they quoted us something astronomical for the repair. That's when we decided to look to ThumbTack and thankfully came across this company. Elliot responded to us instantly and was available to come take a look that very same day! He also was so much more thorough in his evaluation of what had happened with our AC, ultimately quoting us at less than half what the original company had said. Not to mention, Elliot is beyond genuine and actually cares/isn't trying to rip you off, which is clear as soon as you meet him! He also did SUCH an incredible job and has been amazing in ensuring everything is working appropriately since. EXCELLENT customer service and person all around!!! We'll forever be utilizing Elliot and Sensible Heating and Air moving forward!!

Like I told him, I'd held on to my Ecobee thermostat since I bought it in 2022 because I wanted to replace an older Carrier LCD and get the smart thermostat benefits. I thought it was a lost cause (based on the multiple Reddit threads that told me it wasn't compatible), yet he set it up in less time than it took me to walk my dog around the block. Since then it has worked perfectly. Best investment I've made this year. Highly recommend.

Polite, courteous and knowledgeable. He did a tune up of our AC unit and let us know, that at 27 years old, the AC unit probably should be replaced sooner than later before catastrophic failure. 😅 There was no pressure or 'salesy' feel to his approach. Would recommend for any heating and cooling need.
