Introduction: Keep Guitar Now is focused on getting the student up and playing songs, taking solos, or composing as quickly as possible. We do this by setting goals, breaking down the actions needed to obtain goals, and then going to work. I keep my student count low to be able to tailor each lesson to the student's individual needs. We will review goals as the student progresses. I enjoy meeting new people and watching them meet the goals they at one time felt were out of reach. You can play guitar!

The teacher has a unique way of getting through to the student. He is extremely patient and I'm very surprised to be learning so quickly and I've been taking lessons from Jeff for little over a month. He guides you through the music you love and will give you "homework" which has helped a lot. I highly recommend Jeff!

My 7 yr old son and I have been learning from Jeff for 4 months now. I can definitely say he is very good at what he does and is also very patient with beginners like us ( 40 year old & the other 7:) He has been playing for over 20 years and so knows his stuff. He is constantly trying to find ways to help us understand and learn things more easily. I have a traveling job and have had to reschedule a few times and he has always accommodated that. I strongly recommend Jeff for lessons, no matter what you sort of guitar lessons you are looking for.

Exceptional job outlining chord shapes in a streamlined fashion and listened to my concerns and questions. Helped me to get better at basic and more advanced strumming patterns. I've been to numerous instructors and Jeff is by far the most patient, accommodating, and knowledgeable instructor. Please seek him if you are learning for the first time or need to further your guitar playing, music history, and theory.

My rate is $20 per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I will first contact the student and lay out what expectations there are for the lessons. From there, I begin to form a lesson plan so that the student will reach their desired goals on the guitar as quickly as possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have twenty-plus years of study, composition, and performance on the guitar. My Bachelor's Degree is in Music from Saint Mary's University.
