- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate stays consistent regardless of the project. I never include break times in my invoices.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get a solid understanding of the scope of each project before quoting a time and materials estimate. In many cases I can use photos to determine the job scope, but an on-site evaluation may be necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of my training is on-the-job, based on over a decade of doing rehab work on five rental properties we own, our own home, and work done for several friends and family members. I have training as a residential real estate salesperson, which includes in-depth study of home systems and municipal and state code requirements.
