We needed painting done at our rental property. Nathen came highly recommended by a friend of mine who has used Nathan and his team at her rental units. Nathen was prompt at getting back to me and providing a quote. His quote was very reasonable. The work was completed within the time frame we gave. We are very pleased and will definitely use his services again.

The team at Praise Painting painted the exterior of my home. They were very reasonably priced, professional, and I now can honestly say I have the most beautiful house on the block. They were wonderful to work with in every aspect and I will be calling them again soon to paint my deck this Summer!

Overall rating was fair minus. Nathen is a young guy with a lot of energy. He personally was decent to deal with and fair to standard field pricing for a knock down resurface ceiling at our main floor home. He was hired to perform a patch to the ceiling due to water damage earlier, scrape popcorn ceiling and restore with a knockdown finish. He an his crew completed our entire main floor in 4-5 days while we were vacationing away from our home. When we returned, out home was a wreck with white dust covering to every nick and cranny, floor lamp broke into 3 pieces, a $3000 refrigerator dented, tops of cabinets chandelier light thick with dust and debri. The ceiling mounted lights were not removed to complete the entire ceiling, the base of the lights are over brush painted. Expensive crown molding on our kitchen cabinet is chipped and broken as if someone used it to pull themselves upward. The garage floor , door entries , driveway and street level were littered filthy with sheet rock debri and dust, even the front yard appeared to have dumped dust and debri into the grass. Shop material such as left over boxes, coffee cups, rolled masking tape and strips of sheet rock tape were left behind. As far as the workmanship, it is average at best to the ceiling work. Hiring a professional painter would not leave brush over paint on trim, ceiling fixtures, fans and walls. The knock down appears to be a one directional coat, typically standard research notes that a 2 coat opposite direction work is a complete job. The sheet rock ceiling repair is evident with showing seams and shaggy attempt to hide it. In the end, we are still dealing with electrical problems, constant white dust cleaning. The upside, Nathen will respond immediately to communication, fair attempt to correct the shaggy clean up of his crew, broken light fixture, electrical issues, and returned for finishing under light fixtures. He seems to be concerned about your experience and approval of the work. The job was complete while we were out, we did not have to move furniture. The overall ceiling knock down work seems to be average at best. He was market fair with pricing, but the after work cleaning, patch work, incomplete work under fixtures, over brush painting and other incidents, we would consider paying more to avoid the cleaning headaches, broken fixtures, broken cabinet crown molding, dented stainless steel refrigerator, re-visit patch work, shaggy ceiling patch job, and ongoing electrical issues. The bottom line, do your research and gain understanding of expectations that are equivalent between the contractor and yourself for complete craftsmanship and all incidents that occur during and after the hired job is complete .
