We hired Pure Focus Photography to shoot our daughter’s senior photos. Valerie did an amazing job! She scouted shooting locations ahead of time at the park we requested and was ready to begin as soon as we arrived. She led a fun shoot, suggesting many cute poses and keeping things fresh and engaging. And she was very prompt in editing the photos and making them available. She's really patient and kind. She goes above and beyond to make sure you get all the pictures on your vision. She made a good job of asking me for my inspiration board, and she came prepared with the pictures I sent her, downloaded on her smartwatch so she wouldn't miss a single one. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is transparent and always includes editing and full-resolution images.
I offer different packages depending on the type and length of the session. Travel fees may apply for locations outside the main area. Occasionally, I offer seasonal discounts or mini-session specials - feel free to ask!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I like to get to know the client’s vision through a short conversation or questionnaire. Then we discuss the location, timing, and any important moments or people they want to highlight.
On the shoot day, I guide them naturally and help them feel relaxed. Afterward, I edit the photos with care and deliver them through an online gallery.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve taken professional photography courses and consistently invest in education through masterclasses and workshops. But beyond that, I believe experience and intuition knowing how to read light, moments, and emotions play the biggest role.
