- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing depends upon the service required. A fairly standard tax return (Federal 1040, State with no itemized deductions would run $140). Other services including bookkeeping and tax consultation vary depending on the needs of the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually we arrange for a free consultation meeting to review past income tax returns and inquire as to the customer's tax status. At that meeting, we set a fixed price for the work involved and follow up a few days to a few weeks later with the completed return.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered tax preparer with the IRS, with a Series 7 & 66 licenses from FINRA. For the last 20 years I've been working in tax and/or financial planning services.
