Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am in the business of telling stories and helping brands get their content out to the people that need to see it. I've been doing it for over ten years and I take great pride in the clients I've helped to date. My team and I have a full set of imaging options that we can scale to your budget. If you need Hollywood cinema capture in 4K, we can do that. If you need a quick run and gun event shoot with a top of the line DSLR, we can do that too. I've been producing videos for long enough that I can honestly say I have made nearly every kind of content out there. Tell us what you need and we can deliver. Bio: Todd Wardrope (B.F.A., M.F.A.) is a freelance video producer and content creator located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He takes great joy in using visual storytelling to communicate ideas and feelings to diverse audiences. To date he has produced close to 1000 online videos for clients such as Patch, Huffington Post, Facebook, Groupon, Yelp, and Dex. He has also created video work for agency campaigns such as PGA Superstore, Schlitz Beer, and DaVita. His political campaign videos have been honored by Adweek, City Pages and the Washington Post. In the Twin Cities, he has produced video journalism for outlets such as City Pages, Twin Cities Daily Planet and Minneapolis Television Network. As an independent filmmaker, his work has screened as part of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival, Minneapolis Underground Film Festival, Minneapolis Dance Film Festival, Z-Fest and 10-Second Film Festival. Besides meeting new people almost every week, I enjoy finding the story that is at the heart of every brand or organization. I love helping people tell their stories and bring that to the community at large. I am a visual storyteller. I find professional fulfillment in finding the exact images that tell the story of a business, personality or event. I don't do templates, but always work to find what makes a client unique and interesting. I am not here to tell your story, but rather, I am here to help you tell your story. There is a big difference.

Todd was good to work with and did a great job. We love the video he prepared from 4 cassettes of our son's soccer games. He chose the best action from 4-6 hours of tape of our son and made us a very, very enjoyable 5-6 minute highlights video.

Todd has produced several videos of productions by our little nonprofit theatre company. He is wonderful to work with, professional, and considerate. His final product is always stellar, and we love what he does for us!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

There is a breakdown between commercial clients and non-profits. Additionally, different shoots require very different resources so it is best to be as specific as possible when looking for an accurate quote. I prefer to offer different production packages so clients can decide what is important to them and what meets their budget. This is why communication is key to creating great video product.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

BFA, Filmmaking. MFA, Creative Writing Video/Photo Instructor for MTN, Twin Cities Media Alliance and MELSA.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Pretty much every kind. Political personalities, motivational speakers, authors, artists or athletes putting together a highlight reel. Multinational corporations, local small businesses, or advertising agencies large or small. Celebrity weddings or ceremonies that are charmingly individualized. Honestly, variety is the best part of being a freelance video producer.
