- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend other yoga classes, retreats, group discussions, and the Yoga Alliance TTY200 certification course to keep me current in my practice and development of others. I will be certified in aromatherapy in the future as well as nutrition and fitness.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have experienced a significant weight loss (80 lbs) and have maintained it for 8 years, along with many personal benefits from practicing yoga. I used to suffer from chronic pain - and no longer do. I have learned the value and skill of being present. It is my desire to share experiences, strength, hope, and value to those seeking to find physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual growth strength, awareness and relief. I love to help others feel better without the use of chemicals.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common issues are in relation to weight loss, pain, back pain primarily, and the key is found in the initial consultation and first meetings. I take a brief description and then the two of us are able to explore the desired result. Deep relaxation is a close second. This is done through stretches and meditations.
