Cody was great. His work was fantastic - we've already received many complements from the neighbors. Everything is level and looks beautiful. He even helped us out by digging and pouring some footings for a porch and holes for fence posts, which he allowed us to add onto the original work. He was flexible because we had a weird schedule that meant working around other contractors. He was such a joy to work with and we'll be calling him back when we're ready to replace the garage.

Ok, we were limited to only 3 adjectives, but really, my husband and I wanted to select all 5 options (value and punctuality). Of the several contractors we contacted, only Cody of Kai Construction met with us in person to discuss the project. His thoughtful questions helped us develop a firmer vision of what we wanted. Cody replaced a broken step on our original porch, poured a 4 inch slab to extend across the front of the house, and skim coated our back steps to refresh the look. His work for the porch extension was detailed: removal of a lot of landscape rock and proper preparation of each stage. He also knew the building codes for the area. The end result exceeded our expectations! Cody was patient, answered all our questions, and explained his method. He's a personable guy and we'd definitely consider hiring him again.
