About
Hi, I'm Steve Studer, Owner Operator of FlorDek Coatings LLC a family run business that has been installing the highest quality decorative and waterproof floor coatings for Residential, Commercial and Institutional Customers since 2005. No job is too big or too small. I learned my trade by spending fifteen years repairing, waterproofing and top coating parking garages. During this time I learned that the number one factor to a successful installation is proper preparation followed by a deep penetrating primer that locks into the concrete pores to create superior strength floors. I am proud to say that we have not had a delamination failure in 13 years and 100,s of garage floor installations. All FlorDek installations are warranted against chipping, pitting and delamination for the life of the floor.
The key to successful customers is to treat every installation as a work of art. It is very rewarding to everyone involved to transform a plain old concrete surface, usually with cracks, pit and pop-outs, to a beautiful, decorative surface that everyone can be proud of.

I own and operate professional Dog breeding facility. The floorcoatings that FlorDek installed have exceeded the performance of many other facilities that we have toured. The knowledge and dedication to quality I believe are the reason why our results have been superior.

The quality of work was exceptional and completed on time as promised. The floor in my garage was coated about 12 years ago and still looking like new. Makes for easy cleaning after projects. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have developed standard pricing per square foot for the standard coating options that we provide. However, the nature of concrete condition tends to vary with the age and location of concrete slab. Most projects require an on-site inspection with recommendations made at that time. After on-site inspection a formal quote/contract is prepared and delivered to Customer by email or text
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1)We provide quote based on the $/square foot for the requested service 2)The customer can calculate the estimate based on actual SF to be done since we don't now actual SF at this time
3)Customer contacts us to schedule actual site visit to verify size and service required.
4)Final quote/contract is prepared and sent to customer by email
5)Customer accepts bid verbally or by signing contract.
6)Project scheduled and completed. Customer pays upon completion.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have completed training and certification classes for most Commercial and Residential Grade Manufacturers:
Certified Concrete Polishing Association
Certified BASF Installation Installer
Certified Sika Installation Installer
Certified Sherwin Williams Installer
Certified Vortex Spray-on Polyurethane Bed Liner Installer
