Introduction: Hello, my name is Tamera and I am a creative by nature. I started Grundy Designs in 2011 as a graduate with my degree in Communication Art and Design knowing I was passionate about helping small businesses. I worked for a few large design agencies and saw the prices they charged and wanted to provide that same agency quality creative for an affordable price. I have worked with small to large businesses all over the US doing website and graphic design for them. In 2014 I added photography to my skill set doing corporate, portrait and product photography after seeing so many of my clients not having that in their tool box. So that is now something else I can help you with. I love creating things for all your special events like weddings and birthdays visually making your theme come alive and expressed with your friends and family. I had Tamera come to my inhome daycare to take school pictures of our group. She did a wonderful job! It's hard enough to photograph one child and she handled my group of nine aged 6 months to 8 years beautifully. She also took amazing individual and sibling shots for parents who wanted a mini session. We are all very pleased with how the pictures turned out. I would highly recommend Click Chick Photography and look forward to working with Tamera again. I will also say, I love the support Click Chick shows the Shakopee Community. I have seen Tamera out at different events like Pumpkins in the Park and it's great to see local businesses and community members supporting each other!

I have never worked with someone that could understand what image I was trying to put out there till Tamera. We literally talked on the phone for 5 minutes and she had a design for me within the hour. She hit the nail right on the head. I was able to put in my own input and she was able to give me choices. I felt very comfortable working with her and I will definitely be working with her in the future.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first talk over all the details in person, over the phone or via video chat. Depending on what design work you are looking for will depend if you have to fill out one of my super fun "funsheets". Then I begin the initial design, send screenshots of the progress making sure you are liking it so far and make changes as requested until we reach the final. For corporate designs I use an online whiteboard program to visually see everything together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Communication Art and Design, website training from both the design and IT side and self taught photographer.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been artistic and after going to college I got my degree in Communication Art and Design. I now get to be artist, help people and earn a living!! It's great.
