- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for planning events. I started in college planning campus events, such as homecoming and large concerts, for the student body and alumni. After college, I started planning for corporate organizations, non-profits and weddings on my own. Recently, I was an executive planner for a very large corporation. I started Renly Events to take my planning skills beyond the cubicle.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone who is passionate about their business and most importantly you and your event. If they aren't passionate about it, I don't believe they will work as hard to have the event you are looking for!
