Introduction: Amanda's first horse, a wild mustang, inspired her to start on a journey to become the best horseman she could possibly be for him. A horse-lover since childhood, she is dedicated to the study of horse behavior, horse psychology, and advanced horsemanship. She has trained and competed in multiple disciplines and has developed a love of cross-training to showcase the versatility of well-rounded horses. She thrives on helping her students learn to build a relationship with horses through respect, trust, understanding and connection and her lesson program operates on a foundation of horsemanship-focused communication between horse and rider.
Amanda teaches both Western and English lessons to adults and children ages 8 and up.

I have no experience with horses and wanted to learn to ride. It is important for me to connect with and have a relationship with the animal I’m asking to carry me on their back. Amanda does all those things with her lessons—she cares about my goals and guides me on my journey. I have put my faith in her that she will give me exactly the lesson I need each week. I started with an 8 week package but now I don’t see myself stopping any time soon. If you want to feel like you and the horse are partners and not like the horse is an object to you—sign up now!

Amanda is an amazing instructor! My daughter absolutely cannot wait to go to her lessons every week. Amanda is very encouraging and patient with my daughter, and her teaching style is exactly what I was looking for.

(Dressage lesson review) Amanda is a very kind patient person who I have been working really well with thus far. She’s knowledgeable and is capable of ‘going back to the basics’ to get some real work done. She also takes the horses feelings/headspace seriously and I love that. I love learning how to pay attention to the horse and not just ‘what’ the horse is doing. But how they are feeling and how to make them feel better if need be. She’s also very thorough with her explanations and doesn’t mind answering a million questions lol!! I definitely recommend!!

We loved working with Amanda. Our daughter was so excited that she was able to tell Amanda what she wanted to work on and her lessons were tailored to her specific goals. Amanda made the lessons fun and positive. Definitely would recommend her!

I recently brought a horse to Amanda and I couldn't be happier. She was very informative and excited to work with my horse! Our lessons are going great and I've seen lots of improvement in a short time frame. Excited to see the final product and enjoy many wonderful years with my horse!
