FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes Camera Time and Editing/ProcessingTime. Editing/Process time is usually about half of Camera Time. I cap the cost to the time quoted. If Editing/ Processing is shorter than estimated, the client gets the lower actual cost. SPECIAL DISCOUNTS: • 20% Discount to Non-Profit Organizations • 10% Discount to Seniors
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new customers, you can not give me too much information on what your objectives are. We will provide the client with a Detailed Shot List. I will get back to you to find out your total needs and send you a Quote based on my estimates. I like to shoot much more than anticipated and send you a full Contact Sheet or Sheets for your top choices. Someone in that group shot may have blinked during the shoot. This is the time to find those small flaws.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been the designated photographer from my first assignment with Ralston Purina: photographing Purebred dogs with the top breeders across the U.S. Photos and key points to be used in ads in national Pet Publications. I have been the Creative Director using the top food photographers and stylists across the U.S. for ads in trade publications for Fortune 500 Consumer Products and Food Service companies for over 20 years. I have kept up to date with techniques in PhotoShop at various colleges and universities.
