Introduction

A web designer or graphic designer MUST love his job and always have thier imagination going, Many designers or graphic designers get into a rut and just push jobs through. I am always thinking about a new website, logo, presentation or branding,,unique ways to brand companies. I have many things I like about my job but the most rewarding is helping clients go from nothing to a professional company through logos, company branding and web design and development. I had a client who was starting a coffee shop and wanted something different , a logo, branding, that stood out , so I had to do some brainstorming. He wanted Java- Hut as his company name, but I came up with Java-Junction, and used a steam train in his logo. He found all kinds of Train artifacts to place in his coffee shop, all his specials ( sales) and some of his coffee's were named after famous trains , The whole business theme just slowly developed. Through the years I have had many rewarding experiences helping clients.....

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am constantly reading books, taking classes, and online classes, and learning from other designers and artists. In this business you have to constantly evolve and learn or you will be left behind
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After 4 years of drafting and CAD I realized I wanted to design something more. I was working on a machine part for my boss and was getting bored so I was doodling and my boss came by and said you are not designing a logo but a machine part, Right then I knew what I wanted to do, after years of schooling, trial and error, and real world expreiences I started my own web and graphic design studio. 16 years later the studio is small ( just as I like it) and we can treat each client with personal attention
