We recently hired KD Sounds for our Junior National Hereford Expo at the American Royal grounds in Kansas City. They did a fantastic job and were the perfect addition to our opening ceremonies and 4th of July State Tailgate Welcome celebration. We had good food, good fellowship and great music to highlight the evening. Lots of fun music on their play lists and our families enjoyed themselves as they went from state to state in the tailgate. We even had some dancing by the end of the night. Will definitely keep KD Sounds contact information on file for our next event in Kansas City.

KD Sounds supported our wedding extremely well, handling a very hectic, dynamic schedule due to changing pandemic restrictions. They were very communicative, and contributed helpful ideas. They were great at pumping up the crowd and helping to grab the attention of the guests to send them to each subsequent part of the event. They were flexible in countless ways, and even hosted a trivia event for us, doing a great job in hyping up the crowd. They also have an AMAZING attention to detail - especially given the sheer amount of (changing) details that we gave them for the night! We were extremely pleased with their service and would definitely work with them again. Would highly recommend!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We like to sit down in person and talk to them about what they want the event to be like. What styles of music they want and depending on the event, go over a list of questions to make sure it is what they want.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    We have helped a couple of different DJs. First helping with social media and then helping them get the music together, move equipment and playing music.
