Introduction: I want to help people out and feel better. My main thing is to make sure that people get what they want out of their massage and to make sure they are happy with what they are getting. Massage is a great way to keep healthy and wellness. Everyone should be getting a massage at least one time a month. With our busy lives, we all should take out one hour a month to get worked on; it's good for a lot of different reasons for your body and health. That is why I went into massage therapy. What I like most about my job is I get to help people. I can make people feel great and help with relaxing or help with sore muscles problems. I like to work with people and to help all different kinds of people out.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm getting ready to take a class to help with deep tissue. We all have to do CE for massage, to keep up with everything and to get better at what we do.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a med nurse, and I wanted to help more people out than just in the nursing homes. Even though I'm a med nurse, I don't like meds. I found a better way than taking all those pills.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Swedish is most common, but I can do deep tissue and sports and pregnancy massage. Chair is a good one for those who are on the go or need just one thing to work on. Hot stone massage is a very relaxing for a lot of people, and it has a lot of benefits, too.
