Introduction: TAKEN BY THE POWER MUSIC HAS OVER PEOPLE AND THE EXCITEMENT IT CAN CREATE, I AM THE HEARTBEAT AND A CONSUMATE PROFESSIONAL HAVING PLAYED PERCUSSION FOR OVER 25 YEARS. IM A SOFT SPOKEN ASSASSIN ON THE KIT, AND I HAVE THE CHOPS TO BURN WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT - AND HE KEEPS THE TIME RIGHT ALL THE TIME. MORE IMPORTANTLY, I AM OVERLY FAMILIAR WITH THE IMPORTANCE AND BASICS OF A SUCCESSFUL PERCUSSIONIST. It's always a reward when students become efficient percussionist and soak up all the information that's given to them.

Charles and I performed together both in our high school and college bands. In our high school marching band we both played the snare drum and even though I was fairly good, Charles took my playing heights to a whole new level. It is something that I would never forget and I carried it all the way through my college career. Chuck is very patient and concise in his method of teaching and he did not give up on me until I got it. Either if it was just our snare feature (that Charles came up with.) or just a part in the written music that I may have had trouble with he made sure I learned and understood the criteria needed and when I needed to have it. I can say that Charles " Chuck" helped me in to wanting to become better percussionist and have the desire to pursue a career in music. Keep doing what you're doing ChucKK! You will be an awesome instructor. "I'm not a drummer. I'm a percussionist" -nobody
