Dave Allen with Dave & Kellys Heating and Cooling has always taken great care of our heating and cooling system whether doing service work or installing a new unit. He is very knowledgeable and has provided excellent (above & beyond) service plus has been very fair on the price. We have referred him to others with excellent results.

Dave is a true purveyor of heating and cooling. His expertise and professionalism is beyond reproach. I have an American Standard Heat Pump. It was under warranty and the last year and a half the system failed every time the temperature had a dramatic switch from hot to cold or vice versa. The American Standard representatives came to my residence 14 times in one and one half years, unable to resolve the mechanical issue of the constant failure. Personally, I feel the unit was a lemon but they would not replace it. When my warranty was up, they informed me that American Standard was no longer responsible for my system, even though they could not fix my Heat Pump while it was under warranty. I would never purchase an American Standard again. I called Dave and Kelly's and Dave came out right away. He worked on the Heat Pump for the better part of one day finding the mechanical issues that caused the Heat Pump to fail. It has been five years ago since he performed this service and I have never had an issue since. Dave is very trustworthy, professional, and ethical. Dave's pricing is fair and he is very punctual. When he finishes his job you would never know that he was there, cleaning up after himself. If you are looking for the right professional with fair pricing, look no further. Dave is the person to fulfill your job.

Dave is extremely conscientious and is easy to talk to. He gave us a good price on two air conditioning units and completed work neatly and in a timely manner.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer one of the most reasonable Service Call fees at $49. If we cannot solve the problem, we do not charge. We work only in Missouri.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once the customer contacts us, we set up an appointment with a 2 hour window that works for the customer and us. We call the customer 1/2 hour before going out to the service call or bid. If it is a service call, we find out the problem and then quote a repair price before doing the work. If it is a bid, we leave a copy with the customer or schedule if that is the customer's wishes- NEVER IS ANY HIGH PRESSURE USED.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had courses in duct design, house infiltration, troubleshooting, etc. I have won awards from York in the 1990' for League of Superior Achievers. I sold the company of Allen Heating and Cooling in 1998 simply to avoid employees after 20 years. We are rated as an A+ Amana Dealer. This company founded in 2004 is just my son, Justin, and myself..... It is my aim to keep it that way.
